Preparing A Property for a Photographic Session
For exterior photography
Put all vehicles in the garage or off property.
Close your garage doors.Make sure there are no garbage cans on the side of the house or in front of the house.
Remove any hoses that could be laying around.
Pick up any children’s toys, put away toys or game equipment.
Have your lawn mowed and make sure shrubs are cleaned and edged. It’s a good idea to remove any dead plants, shrubs or planters.
If you have a pool or spa, make sure it’s clean and remove any hoses, vacuums or covers.
Make sure patio furniture is clean and cushions are flawless.
If it’s summer, you can open up the patio umbrellas, if you have them. If it’s winter or late autumn, we suggest closing them.
Make sure patios are clear of dirt. We recommend washing them.
In autumn, when leaves are falling, we suggest having a landscaper show up a few hours before the photography session so that the property is clear of leaves.
